Wet mornings after foggy evenings..

The sun is shining and it is actually warm out, what a lovely treat!

Cool Wet Spring

 Lots of fog these days and it makes for very wet drippy mornings, I love finding spider's webs!

I am slowly getting things planted, it was cool today, the temperature hovered around 10° C. The sun did peek out this afternoon!

A Yucky Day for a Drive

Yesterday morning we had to drive Thomas to Thunder Bay in pea soup fog and pouring down rain. Strange weather for February in northwestern Ontario! The roads were not good, thickly crusted with ice, for me a nervous passenger, it was not at all fun.

Thomas just called, as I was typing here, he arrived safely in Vancouver.  I sure miss him already! Time for me to fill my life with weaving and such..

Foggy Morning

Yesterday I woke up to the snow falling heavily. The day warmed up and the snow turned to rain. Rain on snow is not the best thing to happen in the winter. I am already dreading to go out the door, it will be very slippery. It rained most the night, not heavy rain but steady. I woke this morning to pea soup fog, it has lifted a little but it does seem strange at this time of year. Eerie.....

I will have to go down to the basement and see if I can find my cleats that slip onto my boots. I do not have very good balance on the best of days, I really do not want to fall.

Quiet days here.. Mark is back to work... the kids sleep in... I am feeling a deep urge to weave... but it will have to wait a week or so.. 

Lake Fog

I love the early clear cold mornings of winter, the air is colder than the water in Lake Superior and there is this fantastic display of Lake cloud, fog... what ever you call it. It is gorgeous!
