Handwoven Felted Recycled Wool Sweater Rag Rug

After having my textile cut and waiting in my loom room, for over a month, I finally got down to the task last night. I finished weaving the rug this morning. It is lovely if I may say so myself! Pale and pretty!

Big, Black (and Grey) and Beautiful!

I wove this rug yesterday, took photos last night, but they turned out blue. I got up early this morning and retook them. The boots on the rug were my friend Dre's idea, so people will know the rugs just aren't for girls... ha, as I always use my own shoes. I borrowed these boots from Thomas. They work well, I like how the photos turned out!

Multi Grey and Mauve Handwoven Recycled Wool Sweater Rug

My midnight madness struck again.. headed up to bed last night and veered into my loom room, thinking I was going to start tidying up in there for Megan's arrival this weekend. I discovered I had enough bits and pieces of wool cut to start a rug. I suppose in way I did start to tidy.. I have less wool to stash whenever I do start to turn my loom room back into a bedroom.
I listed this gorgeous multi grey, mauve, purple, pale green and gold rug in my shop this afternoon.

Black and Grey Handwoven Felted Wool Rug

I just finished weaving a custom rug, with black and grey felted wool sweaters.  I do not accept many custom orders as I do not have the choice of colours. I get what I get. I will accept an order if I have the right colour of sweaters on hand. Of course if a person is willing to wait, I can order bales and hope for the right colours.

Black Currant Jam

A new necklace for me today! Gorgeous faceted grey freshwater pearls, with peacock grey button pearls and gunmetal grey hematite. This necklace has the earthy colours of the rainbow sparkling through it. Very pretty, if I can say so myself!

Dog Leash and Grey Lapis Skies

Early this morning around 4, Mark solved our leash and dog collar mystery. He caught the fox in action, he was about to steal the cut leash away again when Mark startled him. As he was running off the back step he grabbed one of Marks work gloves, and proceeded to attack it, as it is were alive. He slunk back before Mark left for work and took the other one. What a little brat. Mark says he is a little red beauty! I am glad it is a fox who cut the leash, not someone...

I had the pleasure of making this necklace, as a custom order for a friend, for her mom's birthday present. I am very pleased with it! I hope her mom will be too!

Gorgeous greys and greens!
